You may catch Yvette saying “you’re neat” and she means it.
She is half of the dynamic duo that is Sorted and Simplified. She has a crush on junk drawer projects, extra closet space, hot yoga, pine scented candles and Sonic cherry limeades.
Yvette has a problem with swearing but she swears she’s working on it, relieves stress by making fun of everything, and knows how to get things done in a blink for herself, her household, her friends and random people on the street (no really, just random people on the street).
If you don’t find her sorting through a pantry she’s probably on a trail somewhere in Colorado with her bestie trying real hard to not get lost.
Yvette has had other prosperous businesses including owning a Super Host Airbnb and a referral only pet sitting service called Biscuits and gravy….yes, she named it after her favorite food.
Yvette loves being present for her people but also being in bed by 8:30.
Things that make Yvette happy: any dog, blue bic pens (medium not fine), country music, being in nature, thrift shopping, a good BFF’s getaway, sarcasm, trying something new, and coffee out of a real mug very early in the morning.
The other half of the dynamic duo that is Sorted & Simplified.
Kristin is keen on creating order, balance and streamlined processes. For over 15 years, she worked as a business manager for a small gas & oil company. Retiring in January 2021, she and her BFF dreamed up Sorted and Simplified when offering help to friends and family who struggled with kitchens, home offices, pantries and junk drawers. She loves the process of organizing.
Kristin adores her family including her spoiled dogs, Eleanor and Winston, she tries to always have a vacation booked and has a few outdoor hobbies which might qualify as obsessions. Usually she can be found rowing on the water and chasing the sunrise at about 5 AM from mid spring through late fall. Hiking with her BFF is another way she attempts to keep balance in outdoor activities. Yes, we often get lost, which usually adds miles to the hike and is often my fault, but she loves me anyway.
Things that make Kristin happy in no particular order: her husband and 2 sons, her boat, her garden, a really good cappuccino, cooking for people she loves, rowing, sunrises, my friends, a pair of really comfy pajamas, creating memories, a good nights sleep, a good workout and the pool.
Yvette and Kristin executed my space beautifully. In three days, they took chaos and made it a peaceful place to work with organizational systems that makes sense.
I now have the home office of my dreams.

Yvette and Kristin came into my life when I needed support most. After losing our home in the Marshall Fire and trying to keep our girls afloat, there was no way I was prepared or even able to put the pieces back together in our new rental, alone.

Having just moved in, there were clothes everywhere, piles of shoes without a home base, kitchen supplies to be organized and just a general state of chaos. Within 4 hours (I kid you not), our cluttered and messy existence was turned into an organized, calm oasis, down to the kitchen pantry!
